About Door Wreath
Welcome to Door Wreath — handmade dried flower wreaths made in Hampshire by a small, family-run team who genuinely love what they do.
Meet the Founders
Door Wreath is run by Danny and Sarah Lunness, the husband-and-wife team behind the brand. We started designing dried-flower décor from our Hampshire workshop because we saw a gap between mass-produced wreaths shipped from overseas and the bespoke florist pieces that cost three figures. We wanted to make wreaths that were genuinely handmade, naturally sourced, and priced for real homes.
Danny handles the business side — sourcing, supplier relationships, and making sure every order ships on time. Sarah leads the design work, with years of hands-on floristry experience and an eye for the seasonal palettes that make a wreath feel right for its time of year.
Our Team
We're a team of six. Alongside Danny and Sarah, Lauren, Lucy, Hannah and Kerys make up the workshop and content side of the business — florists, writers, photographers and enthusiasts who each bring something different. Every wreath leaving our workshop has been touched by someone who genuinely cares how it turns out.
Where We Work
Our workshop is based in Hampshire, United Kingdom. We design, assemble, quality-check and pack every wreath here — nothing is dropshipped, nothing is white-labelled. When you order from Door Wreath, you're buying directly from the people who made it.
Our Story
Door Wreath was founded with a simple belief: that your home deserves décor that's as beautiful as it is sustainable. We specialise in handcrafted dried flower wreaths, using carefully selected botanicals and traditional techniques to create pieces that celebrate the natural world.
Every wreath we make is unique. We work with seasonal British flowers where possible, alongside ethically sourced dried blooms from specialist growers. From the delicate plumes of pampas grass to the rich texture of preserved eucalyptus, we choose each stem for its quality, colour, and character.
Our Values
Sustainable by Nature
Dried flowers are inherently eco-friendly. Unlike artificial wreaths made from plastic, our wreaths are created from natural, renewable materials. When their display life is complete, they can be composted, returning nutrients to the soil. We use minimal packaging, natural twine, and willow or vine bases that are fully biodegradable.
Handmade with Care
Each wreath is made by hand in our UK workshop. We don't mass-produce or use templates—every piece is individually designed and assembled. This means slight variations in size, colour, and placement, which we believe adds to the charm and authenticity of handmade décor.
Quality Materials
We're selective about the flowers and foliage we use. We work with specialist dried flower suppliers who share our commitment to quality, and we source British-grown stems wherever seasonality and availability allow. Our wreaths feature premium botanicals including pampas grass, lavender, eucalyptus, hydrangeas, wheat, peonies, and much more.
Why Dried Wreaths?
Dried flower wreaths offer something fresh flowers and artificial alternatives simply cannot match: lasting natural beauty without environmental compromise.
Fresh wreaths are glorious but fleeting, often lasting just a few weeks. Artificial wreaths endure for years but are typically made from petroleum-based plastics that never biodegrade. Dried wreaths sit in the sweet spot—they last for months or even years with proper care, yet remain completely natural and compostable.
They're also remarkably low-maintenance. Unlike fresh flowers, dried wreaths need no water, no feeding, and no fussing. Simply hang them away from direct sunlight and high humidity, and they'll reward you with months of textural, organic beauty.
Our Process
Creating a dried wreath is a slow, thoughtful process. It begins with sourcing—selecting the right flowers at the right time. Many of our blooms are harvested at peak maturity and air-dried using traditional methods that preserve colour and form.
Once dried, we carefully sort and grade stems, selecting those with the best shape, colour, and integrity. Then comes the design phase: choosing a colour palette, planning the composition, and deciding which textures will work together.
Assembly is meditative work. We build each wreath layer by layer, securing stems with wire and natural twine. The process can take several hours for a complex design—there's no rushing perfection.
Finally, each wreath is inspected, any loose stems are secured, and the piece is carefully packaged for its journey to your door.
Caring for Your Wreath
Dried wreaths are wonderfully easy to care for, but a few simple steps will help yours look beautiful for as long as possible:
- Keep them dry: Avoid hanging your wreath in damp or humid locations
- Avoid direct sunlight: UV light will fade colours over time
- Handle gently: Dried stems can be delicate
- Dust occasionally: A soft brush or low-powered hairdryer on cool will remove dust

Our Commitment to You
When you order from Door Wreath, you're supporting a small, independent business that genuinely cares about quality and sustainability. You're also choosing décor that's kinder to the planet—made from natural materials, crafted by hand, and designed to be composted at the end of its life.
We're proud of what we create, and we hope our wreaths bring as much joy to your home as they bring us to make.
Thank you for choosing natural, handmade, sustainable.
